About This Station
The station is powered by a Davis Vantage Pro2 Plus weather station. The data is collected every 7 seconds and the site is updated every 1 minute. This site and its data is collected using Weather Display Software. The station is comprised of an anemometer, rain gauge, temperature and humidity sensors, solar radiation sensor and UV sensor situated in optimal positions for highest accuracy possible. The computer is an Intel NUC Mini PC running Windows 10 with a USB to serial adapter between the Davis weather station's, WeatherLink APRS interface and PC. The station also uses a PurpleAir air quality sensor.
This station is operated by Lance Rasmussen - K7LER and transmits weather data to this website, NOAA, APRS, and Weather Underground.
